Placing Poems

Created for Poetry Day Ireland 2021, Placing Poems is an online, interactive map that invites viewers to write about new and imagined journeys away from the stifling reality of the pandemic.

Before Poetry Day, viewers wrote and submitted their poems through the map interface. On Poetry Day, the map became a public gallery of the poems submitted. While Placing Poems is no longer live, see the video below to get a sense of how it worked!
